Samarth Saxena is a Mumbai-based singer, songwriter, and music producer, known for his versatility and genre-blending innovation. His sound is deeply influenced by a wide array of styles, including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Indian Classical, Western Classical, and Blues, making his music a dynamic blend of tradition and modernity. Among his greatest inspirations are A.R. Rahman, Coldplay, Steven Wilson, Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Pritam, Sonu Nigam, Mali, and Hans Zimmer.

 

While steadily making a name for himself in India’s indie music scene, Samarth’s talents extend across various fields of music. As a music producer, mixing engineer, and sound designer, he has worked on a number of commercial projects with leading brands and production houses such as Tata Sky, Tazmint, Samashti International, Chimp&z Inc., and Griffin Pictures. His portfolio also includes spiritual music projects, including notable collaborations with the Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, as well as work for the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

 

In addition to his commercial work, Samarth has composed music for various short films and collaborated with well-known Bollywood artists like Shaan, Sameer Anjaan, Sadhana Sargam, and Alka Yagnik, among others. His early music journey included being a part of the progressive rock band Moira (now disbanded)

 

As an NFT artist, Samarth has embraced new digital platforms, releasing multiple tracks and collaborating with artists both nationally and internationally. In April 2023, his work was prominently displayed at New York’s Times Square as part of NFT NYC, cementing his status as an artist unafraid to explore new frontiers.
